When to drop the بـ

The words that take a bare verb, and عَم for what's happening now

"بـ" marks a verb as a complete statement. So when the verb is not the statement — when it's hanging off another word — the "بـ" comes off again. This is the single most common mistake learners make, and it's worth getting right early.
