بَين ما

While and wherever

Connectors that set a time or a place - بين ما, وين ما, لما and لسا

These four put one event inside another, either in time or in place.

"بَين ما" is for two things happening at once, so the verb after it is usually "عَم" plus the present. "لَمّا" is for one thing happening at the moment another did. "وَين ما" covers any place at all, and "لِسّا" says that a situation hasn't changed yet.
