دَين
Bank and debt
مصرف and بنك, plus what you owe and how you pay it back
There are two words for bank and both are current. "بَنك" is what most people say. "مَصرَف" is the more formal one, the one written on the building and used on the news.
"دَين" is worth care: with different vowels the same letters spell "دين", religion.
