اشتَغَل

The prefix forms

Forms VII, VIII and X — the last three shapes, and where they turn up

Three shapes left, and between them they cover about 140 verbs in the dictionary — including some of the ones you'll use most.

Form VII — انـ, the passive

"انـ" on the front of a Form I verb makes it passive: it happened, and nobody is named as having done it.
